Eureka Meets the Atlantic in Cape Town

The 10 selected SMES were invited to present their work at a FPCUP session during the Eureka Meets the Atlantic in Cape Town.

Additionally, to promote awareness on Copernicus products and services we invited Pierre Bahurel (President of Mercator Ocean) to give a talk on “Copernicus Marine Service: Successes, Ambition and Future Opportunities” and Michael Cherlet (Scientific Project Manager of Copernicus Global Land Services, European Commission Joint Research Centre) to give a talk on “Copernicus Land Monitoring Service: Successes, Ambition and Future Opportunities”.

“Eureka Meets the Atlantic” is an event that gathers different stakeholders from government, research and industry, who come together to discuss new projects, establish global business partnerships and showcase innovative, scientific and technological applications, for the inclusive benefit of the international communities working towards a greener, digital and healthier planet.
