FPCUP APPATHON | Copernicus Innovative Solutions (Natural Disasters, Health, Agriculture)

The FPCUP Appathon, organized by PRAXI Network/FORTH and BEYOND Centre of Earth Observation Research and Satellite Remote Sensing, IAASARS/NOA , was successfully held online on 23-24/11/2023. The objective of the Appathon was to strengthen the support towards Greek stakeholders, in their effort to bring solutions based on Copernicus data and services to the Greek market.

In total, 24 registrations were received for the contest. During the 2-days event, the participating teams were given free access to the CreoDias platform, whereas they also received comprehensive technical support for developing their ideas.

The 3 winning ideas were awarded with a financial prize (2000 euros, each), as well as with coaching services for pitching to investors.
