Presentation of Copernicus data capabilities to spatial planning stakeholders in Latvia

In Nov 2022, IES was invited to provide insight into the capabilities and potential applications of Copernicus Sentinel satellite data to spatial planners.

The event was organised by the Vidzeme Planning Region and gathered more than 50 onsite participants - spatial planners from municipalities and other planning regions of Latvia. It was a possibility to meet and address potential end users of the action. Overall, spatial planners were informed about Copernicus data but it is not widely used in their daily routine. The pilot study will be performed in the Vidzeme region in Latvia.
